[Post Game Thread] The Los Angeles Lakers (21-6) defeat the Memphis Grizzlies (10-11) 115 to 105
Lakers are on the worst 7 game win streak in nba history
I swear the Lakers are always down by like 15-20 points every first quarter. They play like their first quarter is their shootaround.
Considering AD's been hurt and coasting and LeBron doesn't show up until five minutes left in the third quarter, maybe it's pretty good?
Down 20 than win by 10
[–]Raging_Professor 47 指標 1小時前
Lmao. That 22-2 score. You would've thought something's wrong with the scoreboard
[–]Lakers davensdad 26
Dude exactly! I was watching Detroit game (love to see Celtics lose). When I flipped over, I legitimately was trying to find Lakers' score. I saw 22. And I was looking for a score near that or above that. Then I saw 2. I was like, what's that? I kept looking. Then I figured out, WTF?! Lakers are at 2?!
[–]Lakers pearlessaycamel 39
The Lakers suddenly remembered they were the defending champs in the 2nd half
[–]Lakers Boros-Reckoner 86
Are the first quarter Lakers the worst team of all time?
They've adopted LeBron's "use the first playoff game to scout the opposition" strategy and applied it to the first quarter of every game.
Slow starts are becoming a norm now for Lakers from the last few games.
[–][LAL] Alex Caruso lemurRoy 23
lazy defense, they turned on the D after the half and it was easy transition buckets after that
[–]Lakers NotClayMerritt 13
If NBA games were only 1 quarter long we'd tanking for Cunningham.
[–][DAL] Wang Zhizhi suzukigun4life 16
From down 22-2 to taking the fuck over. When you guys flip the switch, shit turns upside down for the opposition.
[–]Lakers LittleFart 19
Hey they are the only team to ever win 3 straight game in ot. At least they broke a record lol
[–][DAL] Wang Zhizhi suzukigun4life 14
They're actually the 7th to do that, but the first in nearly 15 years. Still a cool accomplishment thou
[–]Lakers mantur200 42
grayson allen made the same amount of three pointers as the whole lakers team
Yeah, if we could get our 3pt shooting back to just slightly below average, it would be super nice. Somehow we're on a 7 game win streak in the middle of a terrible shooting slump.

Teams should fine their role players for taunting all time greats after being up early in the game. It’s just a low iq basketball move.
Like, c’mon, just let Bron wallow by himself during regular season games. Don’t give him any motivation to son you.
[–]Tampa Bay Raptors smeg_ 38
Bron had absolutely no interest in this game and was prepared to take the L, until my guy Dillion started talking shit
You’d think Dillion Brooks would learn from Lillard, Westbrook, and Herro that taunting LeBron is a bad idea since he already did it the last matchup against the Lakers. Instead he doubled down and started talking trash to LeBron and their 20 point lead to start the game quickly evaporated in the second half with Bron having like a 10-0 run on his own. Keep in mind he’s 36, played 40+ mins the last 3 games. MVP
And Cavs execs and courtside Karen
[–]Lakers LeBronathanJameson 19
Bron scored 7 points in the last 30 seconds of the 3rd including that awkward stepback 3 off of one leg
[–]Lakerssusufian 4
Brick free throw then make shot like this. LeConfusing
LeBron moved exactly like curry would on that play. His footwork and quick release looked almost identical. A 6’9 player should not be able to move like that lol.
yeah I thought the same thing, he was hopping like a ballerina in that play

[Highlight] LeBron runs around Grayson Allen and throws down the tomahawk
[–][CHI] Cameron Payne Sim888 405
How old iz dis dude!?
[–][CHI] Derrick Rose jeric13xd 197
36 YEARS OLD. #WashedKing
[–]Raptors ManyFansAndExecs 86
And so is Marc Gasol, at 36. Throwing beautiful perfect passes.
Can you imagine this duo like 8 years ago lol
[–]Lakers RaykoX 82
Best Dunk in a while for Bron. Hype as fuck even without the Fans in the building.
Knowing he might not be able to soar like that in a couple decades just makes it more special to watch.
lmao, Bron just won't let r/nba feast. The other night he missed the game winner in Detroit then went supernova in OT. Tonight he had the flop, then went God mode again
Don’t forget, Lebron shoots air ball. Lebron gets game winning steal.
Dude looking like prime Derrick Rose in prime Lebron James’ body
[–]Tampa Bay Raptors Kizz3r 34
36 yo lebron would win the dunk contest
He's arguably still among a handful of the best in-game dunkers, but he doesn't have the hops anymore to have a shot in a dunk contest.

Kuzma been playing like a legit 3rd option this season, scary to think this team can improve even more.
[–]Lakers swordsdevil 109
he still inconsistent in his scoring
but his defense and hustle improved so much
Kuz is just different now. This is Grown-up Kuz. The league weeps.
[–][LAL] Metta World Peace crawshay 159
Kyle kuzma has reinvented himself as a hustle energy slasher guy and its the best
Almost all his plays and points are hustles. I don't think Lakers are setting him for a play with AD and Bron. Most of the points he get are these hustle rebounds, tips, putback dunks.
[–][LAL] Nick Young TheChipiboy 42
Hes been playing like this since the bubble, but it took the bubble to kind of fix his image of just being a chucker.
[–][LAL] Brandon Ingram MasterOberon 24
Nah, it wasn't anywhere near what he was doing now. This Kuz looks completely different
[–]Lakers Heor326 67
Kuz seemed to get every offensive rebound
[–][LAL] Nick Young TheChipiboy 19
Of course he wasn't getting 5 offensive rebounds a night, but he's been all hustle and defense since the bubble. People think because he didn't score 25pts he wast impacting the game.
[–]Lakers fernandopoejr 18
He was good moving without the ball and cutting + good defense but he wasn't this active with rebounding in the bubble.
[–][LAL] Brandon Ingram xElectricW 14
He started the season being just ok on the boards but in his last 15 games (before this one) he was putting up 7.4 boards in just 24 minutes, I love the energy he's been playing with
[–][LAL] Nick Young TheChipiboy 6
I agree he's been more active this season. What could be a big contributor is the lack of a guy like Javale or Dwight on the floor at all times. Seems like he's been asked to help with the boards more instead of running on the break.
Bruh , people still literally called him a scrub just yesterday and the reason he is being talked about is cause he is a laker lol
[–]Lakers fernandopoejr 38
Those are boxscore watchers.
[–][LAL] LeBron James notanaltaccounttt 3
Kuzma seemed to be everywhere this game. He’s doing so much more off the ball than he use to. Constantly putting himself in position for rebounds and his defence is consistently good. If he maintains this level of progression he’s going to be a real problem in the future.
Laker haters have been getting blue balled for 7 games straight lol
[–]Lakers NotClayMerritt 15
This sub might implode if we do this shit come playoff time.
[–][DEN] Nikola Jokic springerdinger21 0
Refs with some meaningless late foul calls to make the disparity look closer than it really was.
Grizzlies are impressive and have a bright future. The lakers looked meh but LeBron and whistles can cover for a lot of things.
they'll have a bright one as soon as they'll get rid of Dillon (or at least make him close his mouth), and Ja staying..

LeBron has secured the record for most turnovers in a career in NBA history with 4525!
[–]Supersonics kenjirouen 30
He is one of like 3 non HOF’s on the top 20 turnover list.
Yikes. What a bum.
[–]Heat EyalFidel 16
he will probably keep this record for a while, but Harden and Westbrook are on his back
LeBron: 3.5 TOPG Harden: 3.7 Westbrook 4.1
Westbrook is at 3654, Harden 3167. if one of them is going to play ~18-20 season it might be enough. same goes for Trae and Luka who are already past 600 career turnovers.
[–]Pacers purduepetenightmare 8
It depends a lot on Lebron. Both how many more games he plays and what kind of Usage as he is turning it over more than his career average. I would be surprised if Westbrook took it because I don't think his longevity is there. Lebron is going to finish probably at least 1000 TOs in front of Malone.
[–][CLE] LeBron James babyboyyyy 8
I think Luka will pass him in this eventually. Probably the most ball-dominant distributor we’ve seen coming out of a draft since Bron, and with his lack of reliance on athleticism he will play for a very long time at a very high level.
